What's involved in sanding your hardwood floor?

If it’s an existing floor any repairs needed would be done prior to the sanding.

The sanding process involves various grades of abrasion using different types of machinery in order to remove old seal/wax residue generally starting with a 36 grit -100 grit for strip flooring or 36 grit – 150 grit for parquet (block/mosaic/panels).

The final surface would then be checked over to make sure no scratches are left before application of the chosen finish.
